Main entrance Slight slope on tarmac up from main parking area - approx. 1:20. Alternatively drop off outside front doors which are 2 x 860mm doors (it's the old barn entrance and was once wide enough to get a tractor through!)

Doors to patio garden from kitchen and living room (2 separate doorways)

2 x 560 mm doors in each doorway (both doors need to be open to allow a wheelchair through).

Patio Garden The garden has level paving and has about 450 sq. foot usable with both shade and sunshine. The remainder is a raised flower bed and planters.

Door to bedroom 860 mm

Bed height 480 mm (this can be raised slightly if required by the use of a different mattress base which also has a raisable section at the head end).

Bedblocks can also be supplied if required.

Pull lightswitch by bed

Bedroom size 4.25 m x 3.0 m Plenty of turning space with single occupancy.

Bedroom has a TV point with remote control TV and Teletext/VCR if required. Also a cordless phone with an intercom facility.

Door to bathroom 870 mm

Shower size 1400 x 1500 mm (only three walls plus a curtain on the fourth side). Extended shower rail and shower attachment with lever taps and thermostatic water valve.

Bath and basin Quarter turn lever taps

Toilet Standard height toilet with raisable supports on both sides and thus transfer from either side.

All the above areas were carefully designed to Category One NAS standards.

The kitchen/dining room is also easily accessible through a 1300 mm wide opening but please note that the sink and cooker are not designed for use by someone in a wheelchair.

Dining table underspace 670 mm (730mm in the centre under the leaf)
